Wedding in Italy at the Borgia Castle, Trasimeno lake, Umbria We chose the Borgia Castle as our wedding venue sight unseen (except for the photos on the website) - and are glad we did! The castle is magnificent, very clean and lovingly manicured. The pictures on the website really don’t do it justice. The surrounding area is quaint and calm, which is a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the big tourist attraction areas. Julie Palombaro made the entire wedding planning process extremely simple for us. She made sure that we got exactly what we wanted, but without us having to spend a ton of hours figuring out all the minuscule details. When we got to the castle we had expectations for what each day would be like - every single day had our expectations blown away! For example we had asked to do a wine tour for half a day - Julie arranged a bus for our whole group to go to a couple of VERY fantastic and VERY different wineries in Tuscany. We loved both of them. Her preferred catering company served us every day and each meal was so much more than we had expected from both a quality and service standpoint. Thank you for making our wedding in Italy so special, we and our guests will never forget it!
